DesktopX 3 for developers

For widget makers, theme authors, and object makers

If you've previously created objects, widgets, or themes for DesktopX (and they're on this library) and would like a preview of DesktopX 3 (i.e. an early version) email me at [email protected] IF you're interested in creating content for DesktopX 3 (we want to have plenty of content available on March 15th).

God, job Mr. Wardell!!! It looks like the debut of DX3 is going to be a real special treat for DX fans.

I can't wait to advertise it to my professors at school when I go back. In the mean time, I am still trying to get some of my old college day teachers at the art and mulimedia school to add it to the curriculum.

Why not Invite DesktopX Developers that have works you you like?

I hope im one!

We expect to sound out the betas tomorrow.  As for inviting - far easier to ask active DX develoeprs to email us first than for us to go through the libraries, come up with a list, find their email addresses, and then email them and wait for them to respond. If they're active, they'll see this news item.

Going to have to delay the beta one more day. Rounding up some features for developers.

Brad - Thanks for the beta, works OK.
Only one problem. There doesn't appear to be any way of changing any of the graphics except by changing the file extension from *.dxtheme to *.zip and unzipping the theme.
There used to be a folder for 'owner's theme' which contained the files for that theme which you could open to view the graphics but that is missing now.
