WTF?

Why are people accusing me of wanting their personal information so I can either get them fired or dig up dirt on them all of a sudden?

First I'm accused of wanting to get people's addresses so I can spy on them, now I'm being accused of wanting to get them fired from their jobs.

 Now, lets get one thing straight; I'm not accusing anybody of anything...but it does seem awfully coincidental that I'm just now getting all these folks emailing me.  I've been blogging here over a year, and I've never had a problem like this before now. 

Let's get some more things straight: First of all, I would never go searching for information or 'dirt' on people I consider to be my friends, and I'm hurt that any of you would think that I would. Secondly,  it takes a bit more than an address and name to get information on someone, and it's damn expensive too.  Prices range from $20 odd all the way up to $85 + PER SEARCH....and my husband doesn't make enough for me to go around getting info on people for 'fun'. 

So, if any of you get emails or IM's saying that I've been asking questions about you, please try to take them with a grain of salt.  Someone's trying to have some 'fun'...except it's not very funny, it's pretty fucking juvenile. 

You know what, I think that I might just be done.  I think that I've had enough.  Y'all win....I'm beaten.  Blogging here just isn't fun for me anymore, in fact, it's becoming pretty damn painful.  I don't come here to be ridiculed and made fun of, and whilst I shouldn't let it bother me the fact is it does.  It also has the potential to be harmful to me professionally (yeah, laugh at that if you want to, I don't give a fuck anymore) in the future.  So, perhaps this should be my blowout farewell blog, the one where I tell everyone what i really think of them.

I love most of you.  I've had a fantastic time here, I've met some great people and made some wonderful friends.  I've laughed, cried, celebrated and mourned with you.  We have pissed each other off, but those arguments have only served to provide us with a deeper understanding of each other. Y'all know who you are..... (I had hoped that that would be the case with this latest battle....apparently not.)

There are those of you, however, that I simply cannot stand.  I have tried to like you, I have tried to understand you, I have tried to plant seeds of compassion for you...and I have failed miserably for the most part.  You know who you are too....no, I'm not going to name names, I'm not going to be petty and childish (unlike whoever has been emailing my friends and telling lies about me).

So, fare thee well, Joe Users.  Remember me fondly, and know that I too shall remember you with the appropriate sentiment.  I'll be emailing admin Monday morning and asking them to delete all my articles, so if there's any that y'all would like to keep, you'd better start cutting and pasting now!

I too wish to send my regrets about how things have come down against you dharma... its such a shame that you've become such a prolific target for this kind of abuse and I am sad to see you go like this.

wow...who the hell would go as far as to do something of that nature...how low is that?...you do write some pretty interesting stuff..and it seems like you are good friends with lots of ppl here....would be a shame to see you go.

I'm sorry, but it really sucks that people won't just leave you the fuck alone. Are they really that insecure? It's sad to see you go, but I don't blame you.

I don't know what the issue is...well, I do sort of, but why it has to be a perpetial thin...well, that I don't know.

I don't think so. I'm thinking about setting up another blog elsewhere and if and when I do I'll point you in it's direction....but I think that the chances of someone getting me to stay here are pretty much none.

I am so sorry you feel you have to do this. I have to say it is disappointing you let the bastards get to you, but I understand why you feel you need to move on.

You are a wonderful person and have become a good friend. I know we'll stay in touch but I still find it sad to see you going.
