Cash Lost to Leases and Treaties.

I just bought the game today. I LOVE it and this forum is one of the best. I do have a question, after I finish or retire a game at the end I check my score etc. And my Cash Lost to Leases and Treaties is alway a crazy number like 4700-18000+ what am I doing wrong?

from what i can remember, if you choose to pay to complete any social or military production, the amount you pay will exceed the orriginal costs of the project. the additional monies paid will show up as cash lost to leases. if you pay a race to stay 'friendly' with them or bribe them to go to war, this too counts for the above.

This doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. Its just how many bc's you used on rush buying (and treaties ?).

Does this have any influence in your metaverse score...hm lots of theories, but i don't think anybody has done any real testing on this.
