Phone rang at 0455 this morning. When you've been in the Army for a while, you know there are only two things a Soldier will get called for that early - an alert or urinalysis. And since I'm in a training unit, I knew it wasn't an alert. I picked up the phone already knowing what I was going to be told. Be at the company at 0630 either ready to pee in a cup or ready to drink water.
The problem, though, was that I got up for PT 15 minutes earlier and had already gone to the bathroom. So, on my way out the door to PT, I grabbed a few bottles of water and started studying for the test.
Now, those of you that read Peeing In A Cup already know how much trouble this sort of thing can be for me (the short version is I get stage fright peeing in front of people). But, I'm happy to say, I was a first time "Go" this morning and was out of there about 30 minutes after I arrived.
WOOHOO for me!
