How to make vertical drawers?

I saw in a screenshot of Objectdock Plus a user had his tabs docked to the bottom of the screen. He used them to make vertical drawers that slide up vertically from the bottom instead of horizontally. There was a brief explanation of this but I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

All you need to do is detach from egde, and resize the tabbed dock just as you would a window. Then you can re-attch to edge.
