Christmas Devotional

Remember last December one of the General Authorities gave a talk about some young boy nearly a century ago...still alive today...with a story worth sharing...

During his talk, the General Authority held up a very old, very loved boy scout manual that the aforementioned boy had given to his father as a Christmas present so many, many years ago. Every day, all year long he'd written in that manual like a journal. (Forgive me if I mixed up any details; I'm writing this from memory.) One of the things he did was make sure he did a good deed every day of the year. In his scouting manual he'd annotate at the end of each day the letters GD in the lower corners of the days' pages. This indicated that he'd done a good deed that day. He didn't always write about what the deed was. He just made sure that he did one. And annotated it to make sure.

I loved that.

I'd like to do such a thing too.
