Women in Congo
There are women in their native home of Congo who are being kidnapped from their husbands and families. They are kidnapped by men who keep them as prisoners. They are kept as prisoners solely to satisfy the lusts of the men. They are raped daily, sometimes several times a day. Their husbands have often witnessed their rapes, and some of their husbands have abandoned these poor women.
These are women just like you and me. They have hopes and dreams. They have passion. They are beautiful. These cruel men are robbing them of fulfilling their dreams, raping not only their bodies, but their souls.
But in the Republic of Congo these women have no voice. People tend to overlook the Africans for ages-old prejudicial reasons. Africans are not savages. They are beautiful people who have rights, and you & I are so lucky to know about their situation, because we must help them.
John and I currently have five dollars to our name. But that is not going to stop us from helping these wonderful women. We are so much wealthier and fortunate than these people. Please, you are reading this. Help them too.
By visiting the site below, you can help. There are two main things you can do. The easiest thing we can do is donate money, which, through this organization, will most assuredly go to benefit these women directly. There are other service opportunities available too. Like helping out in person. Check out the site.
