Score calculation on Metaverse

How is the player's total score calculated on the Metaverse? It's not an average, and it's not a total. I've got a score of about 25,000 after 6 games, but the combined score of those games is around 60,000.

I've been looking around for some explanation, but haven't found it.

The simplified version of one of the great mysteries of the Metaverse:

Total of your current game scores: 62,737
Games submitted: 6

The basic formula for calculating the score is the total score of all games divided by the square root of the number of games played. In your case, that would be 62,737 divided by the square root of 6 (2.45) which equals 25612.

The more complex formula comes into play later. Your games will be put into 30 or 31 day blocks and the simple formula will be run on each individual block, but every month the scores in the older blocks degrade slightly. Right now, all of your games nicely fall into one block, which keeps things easy.
