It's been a couple of days. Let's catch up.
My long story about Henry MacPherson who fell from 1997 down to 1867 is moving along. I have had crits from Marie and Candace. Marie pointed out two cliches. She's getting even-I told her not to use them in her novel. Mine were inside of Dialog and I think they're ok since people use cliches in speech. I'll gracioiusly accept the criticism and leave them in.
Karen, dear Karen, is expecting a business meeting tomottow afternoon to be hard going. She's coming down here for a martini or two and some Chuckwater chili afterwards. She'll need to unwind, we have a good unwinding location here.
Some clown is on the radio at the moment explaining why the war in Iraq is a good thing. The bullshit sounds like it may be that asshole Bill Crystal. I have never figgered out why some people (smart people) are convinced that American-style democracy is good or even desireable for everybody. If it were why would so many societies accept other forms of gov't.
I thought of offerihg another to TRI (whatever) but I'm not sure that doing so would disqualify it from other sites that might pay.
Right now I have some experimental buns in the oven. I made a Stollen dough and divided it into bun size balls. I can't wait to see how they come out.
