I am here on Joe User because I tried to set up a blog site in another place and they screwed it up. Wrong name.
I'm new to this blog business. Never had one before
I plan to use it as a journal. If anyone wants to read it it will be ok with me. They will probably find me a bore.
It's 12:25 on Thursday morning-that's 025 hrs-gestapo time. and I'm tired--so I'll babble a bit.
I am finishing a delightful book which my son-in-law sent me: HOW TO BUILD A TIN CANOE. I read a lot. In fact I belong to a couple of book clubs.
One of them is reading chapter-by-chapter aloud (never done this before) BETWEEN TWO RIVERS.
I have just started a Dana Stabenow-love that woman's work.
Spent part of the day finishing a book rack for the window sill behing our bed. It's rough but functional. The idea is to keep the cats from knocking the books over and onto the floor.
That will have to do for now except for a weather report. Today was warm and sunny with occasional showers. Warm means about 74. My kids are suffering thru much colder days up in NY State.
