Three steps to wisdom

Buddhism… another very interesting religion.
In Buddhism, there are three steps to gaining pure wisdom.
First is the gaining of knowledge you acquire through your senses, such as reading or hearing.
Second, you proceed to this stage once you have made the knowledge you acquired your own by taking it’s guidelines to heart and trying to actualize them through thought, speech and action.
And the last step is basically when you master the second step… you purify everything that you’ve learned.
Basically it's all common sense, but it's reassuring to hear it again.
