Bubble Baths Re-Batpize You!

Re-Batpizing yourself in the family of God!

Okay you may not thing of this, but you re-baptize yourself as a child of God everyday.
When you get up in the morning and take a shower you are re-baptizing yourself by washing of the dirt, and germs and coming out clean.
Isn’t that what baptism all about leave the old you and becoming the new you, a child of God.
I really didn’t realize that till night when I was taken a Bubble Bath.

Bubble baths are really refreshing.
You can play in the bubbles or the rubber ducky that you might have in there with you. When I was little we even had a boat that told you the temperature of the water. It was awesome.

The bubbles if you look at them glisten in different colors, they make me feel so high and fluffy, and that nothing else matters. I feel like a princess taken a bubble bath in a castle or palace, only I am actually taken one in my ranch style house with really small bathrooms.

Anyways~~ back to the re-baptized

When you put the bubbles around you and you are covered with them and you go under the water and come back up you are washing away all your sins.

Okay well if you get the water to hot. In my case I did. Then you don’t stay in very long. So you drain all the water and watch all the sins go away, but you are so hot because you burnt yourself with the water that now you turn on the cold water in the shower and get in to cool off.

The cold water is the clean water that they pour over your head to actually baptize you.

Okay so maybe you don’t get the water to hot and don’t hit the cold water, but you still re-baptize you every time you take a shower.

You are washing off the new and come refreshed and clean, reborn as a child into the family of God.

That's an interesting way to look at bathing....very interesting, actually. Though you might need a priest or something to say a blessing...but whatever works for you.

I just came across it last night while taking my bubble bath..

Stacey

Sarah I am glad you can understand me!!

Though you might need a priest or something to say a blessing...but whatever works for you.

Well yes shaun, I go to church and get my blessing by going through communion, but this is another way to re-baptize yourself everyday to clean away your sins that you might have done. But you still need to go to church and get the blessing. The bubble bath is one cleaning but you also should go to church for the other forgivenesses.

If that makes sense.

I just take a shower...that's enough baptizing for me.

Stacey.... Being baptized is NOT about the water or bubbles or whatever else you're talking about. It is the word of God that truly washes away your sins, not the water.

The water only stands as a symbol.

No.... taking a shower doesnt make you a re-born Christian....

No.... washing yourself everyday doesnt wash away your sins. You have to ask for forgiveness at the Lord's Supper to "wash away" (have God forgive) your sins.

This has to be one of the most pathetic excuses of "Re-Baptizing" i have ever heard.

I know that Sam I know that

I was just saying that You are washing your sins away but you still have to ask forgiviness from God. You are never re-baptized with the water only by communion so taking a bubble bath or shower acts as that.

I am not saying OH you can just take a shower and your sins are washed away. If that is the way it came out that wasn't what I wanted to say.
