CursorXP 1.31 released

Support for 64bit Windows and more

http://www.cursorxp.com

Stardock CursorXP is a freeware program that enables users to have spectacular mouse cursors. Unlike the basic Windows mouse cursors, CursorXP mouse cursors can be both alpha blended and fully animated at the same time. It's also incredibly easy to make your own mouse cursors with CursorXP as the different cursor states are just "bit strip" in PNG format (every frame of animation stored in a single .PNG file).

Stardock also makes CursorXP Plus which adds additional features to CursorXP such as color changing and changing the size of the cursor on the fly.  There are hundreds of Stardock CursorXP mouse cursors available on most customization websites (including WinCustomize, deviantART, Skinbase, and elsewhere). You can download it at www.cursorxp.com

New in version 1.31: Various performance tweaks along with support for 64bit Windows (for those of you with the AMD64).

Does this version address the DEP issue with XP SP2?

Looks like v1.31 fixed the DEP issue of crashing Explorer on my XP SP2!

I wish there was more updated, but eh, there's nothing really to update.

I've never tried Cursor XP, might consider trying it though...what is the name of the cursor set in the lower left corner of the screenshot?

Not that I bought CursorXP myself (one of the few indulgences in which I've not engaged here), but I notice the emphasis on freeware. Has the paid version gone by the wayside? Won't paid customers start complaining soon if that's the case?

(EDIT: Ohoh, now I see... it's been split into Free and Plus - rather than having a trial version.. like ObjectDock).. okay what's the diff between Free and Plus?

If your going to try a cursor out, try GuideDesign CursorXP. Its really good.

Thank goodness for Cursor XP.

And Stardock of course.

And Skinplant for the Solara cursors.

The Plus version gives you "sounds," such as clicks and beeps, and "special effects"which gives you things like flames or fireballs shooting out of your cursor just for starters.

Wow! This version fixes CrossCursor's CPU problems! I plan to test CrossCursorXY for CPU soon.

Wow it uses 90% to move mouse around and not 100% like it used to be.

Not surpising, it still uses 85 MB process when it's using my CrossCursorXY cursor scheme.

Um why do my username have Diplomat now?
