American Idol 4 Auditions

Ok, so I know some of you on here watch American Idol right? I'm guessing my friends don't, but oh well. Last night was the opening aduitions. Only 42 people out of 21,000 made it to Hollywood. So I guess that tells you how many bad singers there were. I mean, some of these people were horrible!!! I don't even know why they tried out.

Anyways, there were some people that sang in more than one voice. I mean what's up with that? There was this one guy that sang in so many different voices during the song he was singing it wasn't funny! Well it was actually pretty funny. The judges told him that he could qualify if this was a group thing. lol. He was like his own choir.

And some other lady, I think her name was Mary, but she sang so bad and was trying to dance while singing. They say she's the next William Hung, but only the female version. It was unbelievably funny! She was so mad after what the judges had said to her, but come on......she was really one of the worst singers they showed last night.

If any of you have watch American Idol before, you'll know who the judges are. They're Randy, Paula, and Simon. Except for this year when they have guest judges they're going to have them at auditions. Last nights guest judge was Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray. It was so funny! All the girls that came in there and didn't make it went out saying they hated all of the judges, but they still thought Mark McGrath was so hott. It's like, that's all they cared about.

Then this one chic was a really good singer. She had to sell her wedding rings to be able to go to D.C. for the auditions. I felt bad for her. At first they weren't going to let her go on to the next round, but then they heard her story and felt bad for her. I felt bad for her, but she was in my opionion a really good singer. And then there was another guy and he was in this hardcore rock band. Now, who in there right mind can really sing if they're a lead singer in a rock band like that? I mean we're talking about the ones who scream into the microphone and that's all they do. But this guy could actually sing! But his band wasn't too happy about it. He didn't tell them that he was aduitioning, so when they found out they were really pissed off at him.

Anyways....that's the scoop on American Idol I guess! I'm looking forward to tonights episode~

I think that of all the contestants, Anwar Robinson (the dreadlocked music teacher) is the most likely to make it into the top-twelve. 

I am most excited about the start of the new season.  American Idol is super-fun!

I heard some sound clips this morning on the Bob&Tom show. I didn't think sounds like that could come out of a person unless they were in pain....whew. I'm still not buying into American Idol because I have better things to do than watch people sing songs that are probably much better sung by the original artists. No offense to anyone but I've abandoned any sort of reality/contestant shows. They are driving me insane. If everyone keeps filming reality than we won't have any left. We'd have to fight ninjas to get to work, foil terrorist plots to use the bathroom, and wipe out entire armies before sitting down to dinner. Eventually to escape our now reversed reality we would go to a theater and watch a guy eat cereal in peace. ...credits to Patton Oswalt for that...

I watched it and I was rolling! I mean, some people have the nerve to go on camera like that. But you know what, more power to them, bad singin and all! It was very amusing and there were some really good singers.

Yea, it is. I think this one is going to be a better season than the rest.

Shaun~ You're missing out on all the laughs. What's up with that? Oh well. But it is quite funny.

Lastnight was even worse. These three triplets came in and sang together and they were really good. But Simon called them fat(which they weren't) and said they couldn't sing(but they could).

And how bout that guy who said he could sing like Brian McKnight?
