I'm not sure how many of you know but Stardock has been in the process of creating a free blogging service on JoeUser.com.  This actually could be a great way for GalCiv Empires to get together.  First off, each person could create their own blog site on joe user.com.   As an example you could have blog sites like http://raythewanderer.joeuser.com , http://hawaiifive-o.joeuser.com and http://richardheaton.joeuser.com.  And on top of that, Ray could then create http://fellowshipofthering.joeuser.com and have all the above mentioned blogs join together under the FellowshipOfTheRing blog site creating a true Blogging Empire!

And for all of you who have wanted to create their own GalCiv fan site but didn't have access to web resources, well, now you have them available with JoeUser.com.

yea the blog groups are pretty cool. 

So yea, a bunch of GalCiv players can group together under their empire and have a combined blog.

So the combined blog would have all the posts form the individual.

Okay, I have taken you up on this for the PanGaea Cooperative Empire page. So far I am able to 'feature' my own articles, and have added Kevin the Kittens Blog to the Blog group, but apparently he doesn't have a 'feature' option on his blogs 'home' page like I do. (I have to admit, it would be nice if the 'feature' option was also there on viewing specific articles).

I was wondering if this is because he wasn't the one that set up the PanGaea group, but if thats the case, how do we get his articles to show up in the Blog Group? Surely it defeats the whole point of Blog Groups if only messages by one member can ever be 'featured'.

Regardless, Kevin's article is listed in the PanGaea Blog Groups 'channels' tab... :D
