The Lights Won. Part 2

I feel like an idiot.

I wrote an article about how every single light on my Christmas tree died one day.....Link

Well, now I really feel like an idiot. I bought 10 strands of lights at Target at the after Christmas sale. Then today, when I started to take my tree down, I decided to check and see if any of the strands were still good. (I had checked several stands while the lights were on the tree with no success, but it was hard to get to all of them.) much to my chagrin, most of the lights DO work. I shorted out 2 strands AND the light socket. Sigh. But I now have 20 sets of tree lights. Woo Hoo! :) I only wish I had been able to find some colored ones for Matt at least......and knew how to rewire a socket. Anyone out there know if it is something for electricians only or do you think I could do it myself?

Probably best to let someone else do it. Do you know anyone who has done electrical work? (worked as a maintenance man, building super, done construction, etc) If not, let me know, and I'll check at church. We have several guys there that could at least tell you how to do it.
