There's a cyclone on us...

I'm at work this morning, but by 11.30am, cyclone Kerri will be storming full blast on the island i live on. Sounds bad? Bah, not so much. The last report said it's weakening. Plus cyclone means no work 
So this morning, the sky is grey and cloudy, it's friggin hot, and there are regular gusts of wind and rain more or less powerful. The sea is very agitated, so all the ships are at the wharf.
Yesterday, i made my 'cyclone shopping': tins of food, bottles of soft drink, candles, magazines, batteries (for my torch light) and SNACKS I'm sure if it was under other circumstances, people would think i'm having a party at my place, lol.
So yeah, everyone is taking it easy today. What clients are we gonna have coming around with this kind of wheather?? Some will want to pay for cyclone cover (for those who dont know, i'm an insurance sales agent). But the bad news is that we dont sell cyclone insurance when there's a cyclone that's about to kick our asses. D'uh! And anyway cyclone is only effective within 7 days, so would be useless to get one now. I know, insurance companies are all thieves and crooks.
So yeah, Kerri is making her way damaging my archipelago. Oh by the way, have you noticed that most of the cyclones are called girls names?? Gee, not flattering for our gender...
Anyway, pray that it doesnt hit us bad.
