Heavenly Father,I pray with all the men and women of good
will that You bless everyone who have been so badly hit by this devastating
disaster. I pray that You heal our bruised bodies and souls as we see these
horrible images of death and destruction. Father, it is so heart-wrenching to
hear stories of lost loved ones, orphaned children, starving and dying peoples.
Let us be instruments of Your love and mercy to reach out to them. In these hard
times, we still thank You, Father, that we see the innate goodness of people
manifest in their heroic and humanitarian acts to console and carry one another.
Everyday we pray for miracles that those who are still missing will be found and
reunited with their families and dearly beloved. We have never lost faith in You
Dear Father even in the midst of this struggle. All we ask is that You stand by
our side, heal our broken hearts, and assure as that things will soon be fine.
Father, I also pray for the people of badly hit states where there are reports
of insurgency/military coercion. May this event be an eye-opener for both the
state and the rebels to end their disputes and work together towards rebuilding
their land. For all the times that we have taken You for granted, we ask for
forgiveness. Father, we praise, love and thank you for all the blessings no
matter how small these are. All these prayers we lift up to you in the mighty
name of Jesus our brother and Savior.
