I'm Proud To Be An American, PT III

A late update

My wife got a letter from the CIS (formerly INS) two weeks ago. Her oath ceremony will be on 30 December 2004. So, she will be an American citizen before the year is over! We are very happy and excited. I am also very proud of the her decision and all the work and studying she put into this. Thanks to all for their thoughts, prayers, and support!

That's what I told her. She has that day off and New Year's Eve (rare thing, two days off in a row, where she works). I told her that on New Year's Eve, we'll get some DVD's and I'll cook her anything (American food of course) she wants and at midnight, we'll drink champagne and watch the ball drop.

I also told her that we'll both go get passports together next month. Every time I've travelled overseas, it's always been under orders, so I actuall don't have one yet.

Congratulations to her for soon receiving the fruits of her hard work and dedication, and to you as well, for seeing your support of her pay off and the fact that you have such a wonderful woman in your life.
