if you only see a white screen, click on the 'help' menu at the top of the quickview player (youll find it in 'program files' if youre using win9x/win me or 'all programs' if you use win2k/winxp) and select the update checker.  update it and it should workd.  if not, lemme know and ill provide a link for a direct download in another format.

I finally got the last Quicktime available for my system installed and was able to watch the movie.

Hehehehe. Cute. I love Don Knotts.

I'm disappointed they didn't work in a "Nip it in the bud," though. It would have worked really well with gay marriage. The beer thing went on too long. Also, the family values part fell flat for me. They were straining.

There is lot's of fun to be had, though. Bush's time in the Air Guard? Priceless! Everyone's favorite banner making a guest appearance from the end of "The Reluctant Astronaut"? Pure gold! And what prophet foresaw the need for a Democrat reference so long ago?

Some judicious editing could have made it tighter and funnier, but it's still funny as is and worth a look.

I'll give it a B- and 1 thumb up.

that was, for me, the really funny aspect of the whole thing.  when inspiration struck whomever it was that saw too many knotts' flix way too many times, it musta been like being the first person to spin a a beatles' album backwards (for whatever reason) and discovering messages from beyond.

glad you were finally able to check it out...and youre right about the pacing.  i was so overwhelmed by the sheer insanity of its existence that i lost my perspective.  although i remembered enuff to know how correct you were as soon as i read your comments i went back and took another look.

btw do you recall a laughlin commercial i was goin on about on in the thread of your article about the guiness record attempt?   altho i havent been able to locate any pertinent information about the parties responsible for its creation, i now know it's part of visitlaughlin.com's 'founded on fun' campaign.  according to the nev film office, visitlaughlin.com can be reached by contacting the laughlin town manager at  (702) 298-3321.  maybe they have it available on video in their offices?   ill continute lookin.
