Pour the champagne and raise your glasses...
...for this is my first full year at Joeuser. Yes, I started my blog a year ago, at approximately the same time that I am writing this one, and I'm happy to report that this is my 242nd article.
And for the first time, I think I've managed to get a working link to a picture of me and my girl. I feel kinda odd about posting my picture; I've been meaning to do it for some time, but have never gotten around to it. I remember seeing my first pictures of Dharma, Ted, Trin, Macky, Mj, Muggs, Danny and Shades and being surprised to see the actual descriptions of people I had only imagined before. Curiously, everytime a person posts their own picture, it's not too far off from what I imagined. The photo was taken at my girl's Christmas/solstice pageant. So tell me; Am I close to your mental image or not even?
It is December the 24th, and I'm still not done my Christmas shopping. I've been out once this morning already, but I still have some more stuff to get. My work check that was deposited this morning is already half gone...
But, my brother, and his girlfriend are coming into town this evening. 
It will be a nice evening, as Kole and I are hitting some friends' drop-in parties before coming back to my parents' home tonight. We'll sing some songs with only the tree lights lit, and catch up with each other. My birth mother arrives tomorrow which is a whole other article... I mean to be only positive and a ray of light this afternoon.
