WinCustomize: Status Report

10 things for 2005

https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=59009#0

January 3 is still the official public launching day of WinCustomize 2005 (i.e. the day we actually announce generally that WinCustomize has been re-done).  But obviously, with Christmas almost here and everyone going on vacation, we are getting close to the point where the site is as it will be when it's announced to the rest of the world (a week from this upcoming Monday).

Read this 10 point guide on what's coming up for 2005.

I should also add that we have an IRC server: irc.stardock.com with the channel being #stardock if you ever want to talk to other people in the skinning world.

Come onto the IRC channel everyone...its accesible via the Stardock Central program. Just click on the "Chat" button from the left side, change your settings for your nickname etc. and come on in! We're always ready to help out with problems, or else just have a good time. (we do that most of the time )

I have been doing some research on the advocacy system.
It would appear I am competing with Stardock.

I have to agree with PaulEric. Something is wrong in a big way. Tried viewing in different browsers and got the same results. Many script errors. It was working ok earlier, about 1:00 EST.

Yeah, there are technical difficulties to be sure. PaulEric, it really doesn't look like this normally. The main site is down as well.

Looks like it back up at least on the Stardock browser. I just realized that it's a skinned IE! Good God haven't you been reading the news. IE is full of holes and you can't trust it anymore. I'm now using Firefox, but it can't load your web site. Keeps timing out. Can't you skin that instead?
