Weekend Celebrations.

So Im another year older now. 32! Wow didn't think I would make it this far so it's all a bonus from now on!

I had a great birthday. I did some shopping in the morning and brought myself some nice shoes. Now believe me that is an effort for me. Im not one to have alot of shoes. I wear a pair of shoes to the death. My last pair was a hand me down from a mate who was going to throw them out because he got new shoes, even though the old shoes were new. So I have now four pairs of shoes. Yay!

Anyhow after shopping I had my best mate come down from Sydney and the partying started. My therapy for the night was Vodka and lemonade of which I consumed a fair bit. So before we went out to the pub to meet friends for drinks I was plonked. I had a great night with a few friends.. danced a little..laughed heaps and ended up back at my house where the dancing and drinking and chatting continued till about 4 am. I woke up feeling a little seedy, but after cooking a really big breakfast I soon picked up.

Sunday was spent at the beach. It was a 38 degree day with the water temperature picking up as well. So I had a few swims, picked up on the tan and had a great perve at all the summer bodies that are out at the moment. The afternoon was spent at home relaxing and watching "Kath and Kim" one of my favourtie TV shows. I got series one and two for my birthday from my nephews. Kath and Kim is a comedy series here in Oz. Great Aussie humour. If you can get your hands on a copy of the series then make sure you have a good laugh!.

Thanks to everyone who sent me Birthday wishes and left comments on my blog as well! It really was a great birthday!

Ah, 32, I remember 32 fondly. It was the year I moved from Canberra to Sydney. It was the year I started working in one of the best jobs I've ever had. It was the year I played the Sandringham and Annadale hotels for the first time. It was the year of my first Big Day Out. Ah, 32. Many happy returns, Phoenix, and I hope you have many more.

Cheers,

Maso

Ah, the Gong is also a beautiful place. Not as crowded as Coogee and closer to those beautiful National Parks down that way.
