I just got back from my buddies the screenwriters. I'm not a 'name dropper, so forget that. If you knew the films they have been instrumental on and in...never mind that business. However I got to look over their new project that should be out by Fall, 2007. Hollywood, you will never be the same. The title of the film is to be, "A DANGEROUS PLACE TO BE".
The film is the story of Jeremiah, a prophet in pre-Christian Israel, who goes un-heeded while the events of his prophesy come marching right up to the walls of Jerusalem. The storyline follows the book (found immediately after 'Jeremiah') almost word for word. The filmwork is going to be SPECTACULAR! My friends, in the filmmakers jargon, told the planned production's 'hardshots' and if they are half as good as hoped for we will be seeing the 'Old Testament' in a 'New' way that'll have many rushing to the closet or wherever they've stashed their Bibles for a closer look at our common history. Here then is a brief outline of what you might expect in this wonderful film.
GOD..the real one, gets thouroughly fed up with His people, and they pay the terrible price that comes when a people think they know more than their Creator. Wickedness in fine threads is stripped naked and the lawyers and the ruling class get a swift kick in the ass. I cannot do the story justice. Read the Book and lament. Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
