First Fake Lordships! Now Pudding Thieves!

I am quickly determining that the British Empire is going to Hell in a handcart. As I detailed last week, there has been a movement afoot to sell bogus Lordships in England.

Now it has gotten ever so much worse. A Buckingham Palace worker absconded with a "spare" pudding from the stockpile the Queen uses to give as gifts to palace workers (not having worked there long enough, he did not receive one of his own) and "pudding" it up for auction on eBay. He was sacked, as his actions were felt to be a "security breach".

And these guys were once the world's SOLE superpower?

Hmmm. I see no difference here than in the reported everyday antics and goings-on of a certain present day superpower. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowning? When things start getting farcical can the end be too far away?
