What do you all think of having your family overseas?

I have a brother who has been in Iraq since last Feb. and he is coming home in January (fingers crossed).
I was in the military and I think that it is bullshit!!!!!!!
I understand that we had to go there, to a certain extent. But what the fuck happened to finding Osama??
Any comments are welcome, even if you have opposing views.

My husband is deployed to the middle east and our duty station is Oahu, so my husband (soon to be ex-husband) is overseas, and the rest of my family is either on the mainland or in Italy (brother). Just be glad that your brother will be coming home on schedule. A lot of our Soldiers from the 25th ID got extended by several months.
