     Well Estrogen Lass is PCS'ing out to Ft. Huachuca now to be an instuctor. At the moment she is visiting some of her relatives back in hot-ass Florida but she should be out here in a couple days. Thankfully I put in for some leave so I can clean up the house! You see as Fox Mulder once said, "Men are just bears who happen to have furniture."

     I have been on my own out here for around a year and those of you who know me well should know that that means very little housekeeping was done. Well nothing like a few days of frantic cleaning to square it away!

 

P.S. No pithy commentary on my cleaning skills from you Oleteach! :)

PS:  I doubt if she is going to care too much about how tidy the place is.  Just make sure it is clean enough that she won't get tetanus or stick to anything

Dear God, Man! I have a deeply repressed memory of your PCS from Korea... dog poop should not be furniture. Something comes to mind involving soldiers tasked to clean your apartment wearing MOPP gear... I always thought it would have been better just to burn the place.


I, too, have been living on my own. I learned the easiest way to keep the place clean is to stay away from it. I also found a cleaning lady who will clean the hell out of the apartment for $40 a week. I love Korea!
