Are we getting there?

Faster..Faster..FASTER!

Okay guys, after two marathon days of coding, the IT team and myself have been working on getting the speed on WinCustomize to be better. Is it feeling better yet? Does the site feel peppier?

Speed's good now. Make the Typography easy to read and you'll have adecent site. The letter-spacing on the fonts it really bad. If you must adjust paragraphs of text for reading, change the line-height... not the letter spacing. It looks really weird in Firefox and is VERY annoying to read.

Tested Forums, and Home page..
Before I was waiting a minimum of 60 seconds before I saw anything other than a blank page.
Now The page starts loading between 15 to 30 seconds.

Before pages took a minimum of 1 minute 30 seconds to fully load.
Now loading in 1 minute 10 seconds or less.

This is comparable to the old site. I'm much reliefed..... make it faster, and I'll do cartwheels.

........ all you show-offs with broadband, can stop laughing now.

Please let us know who the madmen behind the scenes that are flogging the hamsters to make this puppy pop. So that we know who to pay homage to when the speed is really cranking 'cause I wanna see Koasati do a few cartwheels

Essencay hopes some one gets Koasati on tape, when it happens and uploads it as a screensaver

Dunno if it's faster but... will know some time later... I still think a minimalistic theme could be of some use to those who don't want all those fancy images for the borders and stuff.

I cannot upload anything. I have been trying to upload a theme for two days now without any success.

Just a thought, can themes be uploaded in a zipped file? - it actually says .dxtheme.
