The opposing president was poisoned during the elections in an attempt to put him out of the run for president.

thats bad news for the other candidate because that means that he will most likely get labeled as the culprit and some problems may arise from that...

Ukraine is where i came from and im glad that i left there because there is severe corruption and if the other person (not Yuschenko) gets elected, he wants to bind Ukraine and Russia together and that is bad news seeing as Russia is starting to have some problems again ...

ive read some speculation about this possibility and mentioned it as a followup comment to my article praising the ukrainian supreme court LINK.  i havent found any thing that seems conclusive though. 

the ukrainian people demonstrated their innate wisdom and heroism. theyve helped me to hold out hope for the rest of the world.
