Cursors don't work...

Now I have another problem! ~ I d/l a bunch of cursors, and purchased a sub. to WC but today when I went into the folder where I have them saved, to change my cursor I can't get any of them to work!
Instead of the usual window that says 'continue' and when clicked on it opens a cursor of choice, I get the window that says 'choose program to open this file' and when I click on one it says it's invalid! or nothing at all...
I seem to have nothing but problems here....help!

I don't want to know about the "sub to WC"....Do you have CursorXP installed?

when I went into the folder where I have them saved, to change my cursor I can't get any of them to work!

Instead of trying to change your cursor from the folder, try.. Control Panel > Mouse > CursorXP tab.

hi & thanks...I tried to go from Control Panel>Mouse>CursorXP but there's no CursorXP listed in there just the ones Windows has automatically installed....I do have the CursorXP program installed, but it isn't working for w/e reason. Where to go from here?
I only mentioned the sub to WC so anyone reading this would know that I had contributed to the site, so it's not cuz of the lack of that that I can't get things to work~ I had read some posts that said that others had problems cuz they hadn't given anything back yet...
Should I just un-install the program & re-install it again? And if I do that, is there any guarantee that they will continue to work? How do I get a CursorXP tab in my Control Panel>Mouse??
~does this seem like too much to ask?~~

It sounds like it did not install properly. If you purchased cursorxp then you should be all set regardless of your status at WC.
Do you have stardock central? Uninstall cursor xp and reindsatll using stardock central. You can also update cursor xp through that.
click on the stardock link at the bottom right of the page and you will see another link for stardock central.

ok...so I tried it again, went into 'browse' and found it there~ some are shown & alot aren't! But when I clicked on some of the ones that are in there, it worked!
I don't know if this is exactly right or not, but at least some are working, eh?

well, hopefully this is the last update here ...lol... I purchased CursorXP, & re-installed it through Stardock Central then I d/l some cursors and they all work! I don't know what I did wrong before but it's a moot point now...
thanks much to you all glad to see that one gets quick help here when it's needed...
now all I need to do is go to my other post & see if I can get the trails to work!
one more thing I did see that the CursorXP tab is installed on Control Panel/Mouse, just like you said, Koasati so that's all set thanks again!!
