Having trouble getting start bar to change with skin

I am currently running XP home on a hewlett packard, everytime i use windowblinds to change a skin, it will change the skin for the windows but not for the start bar and the logoff, turnoff, and restart window, it only changes the color but keeps it as windows classic or xp style bar. also on my desktop under display properties->appearance, there is an option for windowblinds that show up but the same does not happen on my laptop. Anyone know what I can do to fix this problem

Are you running the full registered version of Windowblinds? If not, that is the reason. The free version skins a lot of things, but not everything.

If you are using the registered version of WB, it's possible that the particular skin you are using does not have graphics to skin those areas. Try a newer skin.

I'm not using the full version, but still if I use the same skin, it skins everything including the start bar on my desktop but not my laptop
