Can I create a limited functionality kids desktop?

I'm wanting to setup a desktop for my 2.5yr old to use but not allow her to accidentally get into the control panel or my computer, etc.

Is it possible to setup a desktop using DesktopX so that the only things on her desktop are icons I've specifically setup for her? For instance, can I totally stop her from clicking on the start button, etc.?

Hiya airjrdn...check out DesktopX one of the themes that comes with it is "The Kids Desktop"...haven't used it, but DX is very customizeable

Hey there.

Will do, thanks for the info. I purchased the $50 stardock package a while back but don't even have it installed right now. I may have to install it just for this functionality.

Also, that machine isn't on the internet (just yet). Is it possible for me to download everything, burn it to a CD, then take it to that machine for the install, or do I have to use stardock central?
