Add it into your locked windows list? Always worked for me both with Control Center and BandVWM. Rightclick -> 'Configure Virtual Desktops' -> Locked Windows -> Add.

I say 'worked' because OD+ now replaces TLP - OD+ is not so cooperative with virtual desktops IME.
