I am new... costs?

Exactly what do I have to pay for before I can download 1 theme and use it?

I was already screwed today by themexp so I have been cautious.

I just decided today to add a new theme to my windows xp and I really do want just one new theme and thats really it.

You can download up to 50Mb. There is no limit for people who have purchased a product or subscription.

yeah but do any of the programs that I have to use to get the themes working cost money?

I saw that the shareware of windowblinds did not have alot of features.

So do the others have the same drawbacks?

Shareware version have limited functionality built in. The idea of shareware versions is to allow people to try out the software before deciding to purchase. Naturally to get fully functioning software you have to purchase the product.

Yeah I realize that dude but all I want to do is get 1 new theme and use it.

Do all the programs that you have to have have limited function or is there one of them I can download for free and get 1 theme with and be fine?

There are no free programs. You either have to use the shareware version of purchase the full product.

As previously stated, you may download up to 50mb of 'Themes' for free. The program(s) that apply/ies these themes is/are not free. (However, there are shareware 'try before you buy' versions avaliable)
