i would like to have permission to make Linux versions of your icon sets if it would be ok please post here and let me know

Yeah, you have permission to port to Linux the Linux icons that I ported to Windows.

DalCeMaN ..... the best way is to contact each and every author via email that you actually want to make a port of and if someone does give you permission for a port, then remember to include a copy of that email with your icons.
