Somebody PLEASE....help...

I'm a new member. I've installed the software I ordered and downloaded stardock....I downloaded a few suites and a few window blinds...when I go to properties...their in there but when I click apply...nothing happens! Am I doing something wrong? My email is [email protected] if anyone can help me...I REALLY appreciate it!!

Did you purchase Object Desktop, or just parts of it?

Have you rebooted since you installed?

Do the themes apply if you use the WB config that comes up when you double-click the system tray icon by the clock?

Actually let's step back a little further.
1. What OS are you Using?

2. What Version of Windowblinds did you Install?

3. Do you have a Tray Icon for windowblinds in the bottom,right hand corner of the screen? If so what happens when you right click it, and go to configure?

4.When you right click on the Windows OS Desktop " A blank space on the Monitor Screen, not in a window, folder or browser," and the Display properties window opens, what Tabs do you have? Which one pertains to Windowblinds, and what happens when you chose a theme and apply?

5. If in XP/W2000 (ctrl+shift+esc) and Taskmanager comes up, is wbload.exe running under the processes TAB? Under win95/98/WinMe do (crtl+alt+del) Once to bring up the running tasks, and see if wbload is running?

These should give us more insight as to, what is going on with your machine.

Important Question.

Also, did you have any shareware versions installed beforehand? If so, they need to be uninstalled before installing the purchased versions.

If you've done this, go to the theme tab and make sure WindowsXP Theme is ed, not classic. THen apply it. Then go to the appearance tab and try to apply a windowblind skin.

Alternatively, you can click the windowblind icon in the start menu and try to load a skin from wbconfig instead of display properties. But, both should work.
