Steam Problem (cannot minimize)

Are you sure its OD thats causing the problem? If so, try the DockTool docklets available in the OD library. They close the dock when you go into a game, and start it again once you exit.

CerebroJD, it seems like this is what I need but I don't get how to make it work. Since you run the games from Steam itself, how would closing the Dock after Steam is open help? Do you think you can make a file and send it to me on AIM? I don't understand the intructions very much...this is odd since you can minimize CS 1.5 but not Steam? plz help and thx

Hmm...takin a look at the program. Dont know quite why it would be doing this. Do you have the Dock Taskbar Enabled in OD config?

Maybe I should make myself a bit more clear. I actually tried this thing and it does indeed WORK, but not well. I can minimize my Steam game, but how can I access my stuff on the ObjectDock when it is gone since I have Steam open? You see, I want to be able to minimize my Steam game AND have my ObjectDock. It's not like it interfers my game, but it just prevents me from minimizing...

P.S. Please don't suggest that I should put what I want on my Desktop, the whole purpose I got ObjectDock for is to have a clean Desktop with nothing on it and everything available from the dock. Thx in advance...

ahhh....ok I get what you're saying now. I'm not sure how to solve this problem then, other than maybe using DesktopX as a backup Dock or something.

Naaaa, DesktopX shouldn't make a difference. It seems like there is no way around this because the game opens up within Steam...oh wellz.

If anyone has a way around this, feel free to reply..
