changing icons

when i change the icons (with windows blind), will it have any effect on the other accounts on windows xp? because i only want it on my account and with style xp it changed also on the other accounts...and then my pc is screwed up again for some reason. so is it or is it not?

As long as you have your files set to remain hidden from other users it should apply on the account you apply it in.

WindowBlinds runs on a per user basis. Each account can be configured to run with or without WindowBlinds. And if more than one account is running WindowBlinds, then each may have separate skins, wallpapers, etc. There is no need to hide anything.

You asked specifically about icons. If you are speaking about the icons for Explorer (Search, Cut, Copy, etc) or Internet Explorer (Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh, etc) then those may be changed as sets either by changing skins in WB or by using the My Toolbars page in WB Config. Those icons would only be in effect for an account on which WindowBlinds is running. So again, the answer to your question is no, if WB is not running, then Toolbar icons will not be changed. If you are speaking of system icons, such as on the desktop or start menu, WB doesn''t change those at all. We use IconPackager to do that.
