Request for Winamp Skinners...

If it is at all possible, can someone make a vertical version of the Winamp 5 modern skin? When you "minimize" it, it become like only 20 pixel high, is there someone out there that has made, or can make a vertical version that is nearly as thin? I tried, but I suck at skinning things...

you know ... there are not really any Winamp skinners on this site.
you better look for them at Winamp.com
i am pretty sure though that nobody is willing to do this for you for free. most Winamp coders are busy with original stuff and Winamp is not only the most powerful but also the most work intensive app skinning wise. you might want to offer a bounty to get any results.

Maxness, it could probably be done but giving it to you (distributing) would probably violate copyright. I would think Nullsoft wouldn't allow distribution of an altered version of their skin.
Also, the Winamp Modern skinners are busy with the GUI Olympics right now.

that would be six or seven years depending on the month you started. but are you experienced enough in Winamp Modern skinning to be able to meet the request the user made?

OK....what say you rephrase your statement as 'there are not many WA5 skinners here'...and you won't be insulting your fellow members by denigrating their reputations/experience...

you are right. i´ll rephrase:

there are not many Winamp Modern skinners here at this site, so this is not the best place for your request. most of them hang out at the forums at Winamp.com. you can get there by clicking on the "community" link on the top bar.
