Sounds....what happened to the sounds?

when I minimized, or closed a window, etc, my suite was making cool sounds. That has quit??!! Is there a way to regain this little but amusing feature?

First, make sure your speakers arent muted. Next, go into WB config, then go under Basic Settings, and near the bottom, make sure "Use Skin Sounds" is checked.

Also check the usually stuff like loose wires, volume control, dead hearing-aid battery (though that's not necessarily a bad thing if your wife's a screamer ) I had a uncle-inlaw with Selective hearing

First: Restart your machine.
Second: Check your sound through a music playing software to make sure that you indeed have sound at all.
Note: Not all skins have sound. Also, other software might grab your sound card and not release it. That is why a restart might be neccessary to force the software to release your sound card.
