Copy a whole Fence

With multiple Monitors I find myself creating multiple copies of the same set of shortcuts, just so I can always see one of them. It would be useful if Fences would let me create a 1-click copy of all the shortcuts in a fence using some standard renaming to avoid dupes. Or can it already do that?

Hello,

I believe, what you can do is to create multiple save layouts with each layout for each monitor. Hence, if you wish to have all the fences to appear on your first monitor, load it, And if you wish it on second monitor, load that one instead. etc. So do don't need to have multiple instances of the same shortcut in your desktop, which might be confusing.

Thank you,

Layout saves help for full desktop profiles. They do not cover the simultaneous case where the same fence content needs to live on two displays at once. For a multi-monitor rollout that is the more common request I hear from users.

This would be cool. It definitely cannot do this because the icons only appear on the desktop once.

We've considered before adding ability to "convert" a Fence into a Folder Portal, in which event you would be able to duplicate. But, a downside would that if it were a Folder Portal, manual ordering is not possible – i.e. it would have to be alphabetical, or date modified, etc etc.

This might not fix your use case as result, but, might this get close?
