Currently loving one of the older stardock software which is WindowFX. I like having the control over the effects of minimizing and opening applications. I do have one gripe, that is, and I have wondered why this wasn't implemented in the first place.
I commonly use the Win+M and Win+D shortcut to minimize all windows and show the desktop, but for some reason the WindowFX settings for minimizing these windows don't apply to this function. It ends up just minimizing all windows with the default Windows 11 animation where it shrinks to the taskbar.
The animation setting in WindowFX will work normally for a single window that is minimized, but won't work for a group of windows minimized using the Win+M or Win+D shortcut.
I would really love it if the WindowFX could apply to the show desktop button (Win+D) and the Win+M. It makes it much more seamless with a premium feel and more control over the desktop animations.
