Unusual behavior when clicking over the start button in Start 11 (windows 11)

I don't know what is happening on one of my PC because all other are not doing that.

Each time I click over the Start Button first comes the Windows menu, then I click a second time and get the Start 11 menu, as I keep clicking it keep toggling back and forth between the two menus, this never happened to me before.
I even try removing the program and reinstalling it again but still keep doing that A compare the setting between two PCs one that have this problem and one that doesn't and can't find any differences, both of them are running Version 2.56

Can someone help me with this annoying issue?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, to make sure it was properly install, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, please:

  1. Need to know your Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Try Clean Boot steps refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1334935592/Start11+Clean+Boot. Do note Clean boot need to be done with care. Try it and report back.

Hi Basj

I did all you asked me to do and still have the problem, I must tell you that this issue started to happens when I updated from Start 11 Version 1 to the version 2.56.  The full version of Windows 11 is 25H2 (OS Build 26200.7171.

I am thinking about going back to the previous version of Start 11 if the problem doesn't get solved.  Or maybe do a full uninstall this time removing any registry entry that could belong to Start 11 and also any directory, but not sure about the registry entry and directories that belong to the product, I also have Fences installed on those PCs.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
