System Tray

The icons and text in the system tray have gone dark. Can only read the time, see default items when they are clicked on. This was fine before and have no idea what caused this. Items pinned to the tray are showing. Reselect settings no help, restart no help. Please advise.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried changing your Windows color mode to dark? If the issue still happen with dark mode turn on. Need more information.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 full version number.
  3. Do you have any other 3rd party application installed currently running or previously installed that also change taskbar area?

I switched Windows to Dark mode and set Apps to Light which fixed the problem - but I REALLY don't like Dark mode.

Those fonts color is from Windows. It turn white when you use dark mode and turn black on light mode.
