Start11 - Showing native start menu button underneath the start11 button

The start 11 button is not fully covering the native start button in small mode. Looks like the padding on the left needs to be adjusted in small mode but I can't find an option to do so. Happens regardless of if it's center aligned or left aligned.

this is on version 2.56, just installed today.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few more details.  I need it to try reproduce your issue, if possible, on my system.

  1. Your Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Have you try uninstall reinstall steps? Just to ensure you have installed it properly: Uninstall Start11v2, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again.
  3. Start11 Enhance taskbar turn on or off?

Thank you,

downloaded via the provided link, uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled using the installer `Start11v2_Setup_sd.exe`, rebooted, set up bar to show as "small," issue persists.

made sure i have nothing else installed that would be effecting the taskbar/start menu

start11 enhance taskbar is turned on

edit: not sure if it matters but i'm on a 21:9 monitor, but it shows the same issue on the 16:9 monitor as well

I can not reproduce your issue. Here is what I get with custom Start button with taskbar size small.

Would like to suggest is to do the Sandbox test, refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416855562/Testing+Start+in+Sandbox

I can see the problem right there, the left side padding is missing from my install, yours is clearly padded on the left side while mine is not. It doesn't matter what Icon I use but it's definitely missing the 5-10 pixel padding. What would cause the padding to not apply to the start button? It doesn't matter what icon set I use for this, I just upgraded to win11 on my personal machine tonight.

Have you test it in Windows Sandbox? As of why the issue happened in your main system. Not really sure, perhaps, conflict with any other application running or installed previously which have some control on your taskbar.
