Full search including other drives in Start11

I'm new to Start products and am trying out Start11. I was puzzled that the Search functionality wasn't finding any of my files.

All my interesting files are on my D: drive (and indexed by Windows) and Start11 doesn't find them (whereas Windows search does).

Reasearching in this forum I found an answer from 2012 (!) relating to a FullSearch option. I tried this fix and it worked:

Try adding the following registry key :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

FullSearch = 1

Thats type REG_SZ.

But surely Stardock doesn't expect ordinary users to edit the Registry!?

Is it just me or is this option missing from Start11? Or why doesn't it search the whole Windows index by default?
