Start11 bug in previous releases to 2.55

Glitching desktop icons every 6-8 seconds +more...

I have an issue with at least 2 previous versions to 2.55. I have been waiting for the current release to pinpoint the issues to Start11 and not any other software I have installed.

In 2 previous versions of Start11 v2, my desktop icons would 'move' every 6-8 seconds. By move I mean shift location very slightly on the screen & then return to their normal location. I also noticed that when I am postprocessing my photos, the glitch also effects the area I wish to crop while it's glitching so I need to immediately try again before the next glitch or I lose the area selected. I have also noticed that the bug was also having an effect on my screen timeout in that it will not let my screen actually time out and go into screensaver mode and later into 'turn off screen' after x amount of minutes. My assumption is that Windows still 'sees' me as being active with all the glitching so my screen never has a chance to time out.

While I did not write down the previous version numbers, 2.55 works fine now. The version previous to 2.55 DID have the glitching. The version previous to that one DID NOT have the glitching & the version previous to that one DID have the glitching so each successive 'working version' had a version preceding it that DID have the glitching bug.

It took me a bit of patience to track this down but I do not wish to have another glitching version after 2.55 which currently works fine.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you were experiencing issues earlier. That said, it's great to know the problem no longer seems to be happening—has it been resolved on your end?

Just a quick heads-up: if the issue returns, please do let us know. When reporting, it would be helpful to include a few details such as your full Windows version and OS Build number. If possible, sharing a short video of the issue would also help us understand it better.

If the problem does come back, I’d recommend trying a Clean Boot to check if any background applications might be causing a conflict. Please follow the steps carefully as outlined here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1334935592/Start11+Clean+Boot

Thank you,
