20 year lapse of reason.

First, thank you Wisefawn for commenting on my poetry. I really appreciate it, it means a lot to me that someone else shares these and enjoys them (if enjoyment is the right word for some of the more painful ones). I would love to have a book of poetry someday, with my own accompanying photos, I do a lot of work in Photoshop with my digital photography. It's all a process, changing, growing, like life.
It's been 20 years, almost, since I wrote poetry. Just a kid then, teens. What a lapse, 20 years, and it went by so quickly! As cathartic as it is to write these, I think those twenty years might have gone by with more peace if I had expressed myself more, or at all.
My favorite poet is Anne Sexton, no one else even comes close to giving such raw feeling in a poem, in my humble opinion. I also love EE Cummings, for the sheer joy and play of the words, showing me that words don't even have to make logical sense to flow and give meaning and feeling!
I have written 16 poems these last three days. It is a good creative time, may it last.
