Start Button and Task Bar are default Win 11

Start Button and Menu are the default Windows 11 ones

Every time I log into Windows 11, the Start Button and Menu are the default Windows 11 ones. If I restart Explorer, the correct Start11 button then appears and stays until the next windows login. Also, along with the start button issue at login, the Task Bar does not show the correct Start11 height (too big), although the corners are rounded. Here, again, if I restart Explorer it narrows and everything is fixed. So, in a nutshell, every time I log into Windows 11 I need to do an Explorer Restart to get the normal Start11 screen configuration. Note: There is no problem when returning from Sleep. This is not a critical issue but it shouldn't happen. Thanks for listening!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, please report back with few more information.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. Do you have any other 3rd party application that load on startup that also change/control how your taskbar/Start Menu/Explorer work. Such as Displayfusion, StartAllBack, OpenShell, ExplorerPatcher etc.

Thank you,
Basj,

Followed your instructions exactly. Same problem as described by me, above. I need to restart explorer to have Start11 function properly.

Using MS-Ball01 start button.

Windows 11 25H2  OS Build 26200.6901   Stardock V 2.56, just downloaded

No other apps affect taskbar or start functions.
