Duplicate Short Cut Names

I have three shortcuts pointed to three instances of the same application, but with different command line parameters and different names for each shortcut.

When I pin them in Start11, they all have same name. If I rename one, all of the others change to the new name.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few things.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version number.
  3. How did you pinned those shortcut and from where?

Thank you,

Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 24H2
OS build 26100.4351

Start11 2.51

I right-clicked on the shortcut in \Start Menu\Programs and chose Pin to Start11.

Try this instead, save your Shortcuts into a folder than pin that folder to a Start11 tab. That way if you add another shortcut into that folder it will automatically appear in that tab. Something like my screenshot below.

Okay, it took some jumping around, but I think I got it to work.

I pinned the new folder as a tab, dragged the icons to the original tab I was using, then deleted the new tab.

We'll see if it sticks.

Thanks!

Not sure on what you did. Did you just move the folder linked tab content into another tab? Why did you need to do so?
